Job Description

Job Summary

To ensure that food products manufactured meet the required quality standards throughout the production process. This role involves monitoring and controlling quality at various stages of production to ensure food safety, compliance with regulatory standards, and consistency in product quality.




Roles & Responsibilities
  1. •    Conducting regular sampling and testing to verify product quality.
    •    Ensure the production processes are meeting the specification in shift operations, monitoring the process parameters, ensuring the SOPs are followed in shift operation as per Quality and Food Safety requirements.
    •    Maintaining detailed records of quality tests, inspections, and any deviations from quality standards.
    •    Identifying potential quality issues during production and working with production teams to resolve them.
    •    Raise the non-conformity report for the deviation during the manufacturing 
    •    Providing training to production staff on quality control procedures and standards.
    •    Implementing corrective actions when deviations or defects occur. Ensure the control on non-conforming materials.
    •    All process and product results are recorded in SAP with accuracy as per specification.  
    •    Conducting routine inspections of the manufacturing facility to ensure that all areas (production lines, storage areas, equipment, etc.) are maintained in compliance with GMP guidelines. This includes checking cleanliness, proper equipment functioning, and adherence to documented procedures. 
    •    Ensure that during the shift operation the work force follow proper sanitation and hygiene protocols at all stages of production. This includes monitoring the cleanliness of production areas, restrooms, storage areas, and any equipment that comes into contact with food.
    •    Ensure that sanitation checks are conducted after each cleaning cycle to verify the efficacy of CIP and sanitization, no residues or contaminants post cleaning. 
    •    Collect CIP and COP sanitation samples, collect EMP samples according to the SOP.

Experience – 2-3 Years




Qualification

Education - B. Tech Food Technology, B.Sc. Food Science, M.Sc. Food Science
