Job Description
Job Summary: The ETL Developer will be a part of the Data Engineering team, focusing on designing, developing, and managing data integration solutions using the Pentaho ETL platform. This role involves migrating DB link interfaces to Pentaho ETL, optimizing ETL and database codes for performance, and ensuring seamless integration of data between Oracle and SQL Server databases.
Must-Have Skillsets (Mandatory):- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Pentaho ETL development.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL and PL/SQL for handling bulk data processing.
- Proficiency in integrating with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
- Experience in developing and troubleshooting Pentaho ETL solutions.
- Ability to install, configure, and administer Pentaho ETL in high-availability environments.
Good-to-Have Skillsets (Optional):- Experience working in Hadoop/Big Data environments.
- Understanding of advanced features and functionalities of the Pentaho tool.
- Exposure to ETL migrations and database optimization techniques.
Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing data integration requirements.
- Experience in optimizing existing ETL and database codes for better performance.
- Familiarity with ERP upgrade projects and migrating multiple interfaces via DB links to Pentaho ETL is a plus.
