Estimation Engineer - Site Construction

We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer to join our team, responsible for accurately estimating the costs and resources required for site construction and installation work for control and Instrumentation projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in control systems, with a focus on the oil & gas, energy, and industrial sectors. They should possess a strong understanding of local market conditions, construction standards, and installation practices in Saudi Arabia.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for site construction and installation work related to control & instrumentation system projects.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare comprehensive estimates.
• Identify and quantify all material, labor, equipment, and other resources required for the project.
• Develop project timelines and schedules based on estimated resources and project scope.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Source and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors for various project components.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Identify potential risks and uncertainties in the estimation process and develop contingency plans.
• Include risk factors in cost estimates to ensure accurate and realistic budgeting.
• Prepare and present detailed estimation reports, including cost breakdowns and justifications, for management review.
• Maintain records of all estimates, revisions, and related documents for future reference.
• Ensure all estimates comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Stay updated on relevant Saudi Arabian construction standards and best practices.
• Review and analyze past project estimates and outcomes to improve future estimation accuracy.
• Stay informed about new technologies, methodologies, and industry trends that could impact estimation practices.
• Ensure Quality of Product solution as defined, Review of all deliverables.
• Ensure requirements of CSIA (Control System Integrators Association) Standard are being complied in respective domain.

• Bachelor’s/Master Degree in Engineering or in related field
• Minimum 8+ years of work experience in engineering or technical sales is required 
• Sales and Business development acumen

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
• Experience with multinational companies or large-scale industrial projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Primarily office-based, with occasional travel to project sites in Saudi Arabia
