Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate AS & A Level English Teacher to join our IGCSE school in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in English, extensive experience teaching the IGCSE curriculum, and a proven ability to engage students in advanced literary analysis, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for AS & A Level English, aligned with the IGCSE curriculum.
- Develop students' analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills through engaging discussions and coursework.
- Assess student progress through assignments, examinations, and project-based learning.
- Provide individual support and feedback to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Foster a dynamic, inclusive, and interactive classroom environment.
- Stay updated with curriculum developments and best teaching practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school events.
- Participate in professional development programs and faculty meetings.
Qualifications & Experience:- Master’s degree (M.A.) in English and B.Ed. in English (mandatory).
- 3-5 years of teaching experience in an IGCSE school, specifically at the AS & A Level.
- Strong knowledge of literature, language, and academic writing skills.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement strategies.
- Passionate about English education and developing students’ global perspectives.
