Job Role / Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager of Electronics Biomedical Engineering (BME), we are looking for an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our team as an Engineer in Electronics Engineering
The incumbent will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical services to the relevant Biomedical engineering team.As an Engineer, he/she will provide expert-level support and assist the department head / Manager in the management of the medical equipment maintenance program under his area of responsibilities which include
Main Responsibilities:
- performing the repairing, preventive maintenance, validation, and calibration of Hi-tech Electronics, building automation, and security systems
- providing support and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including technical, administrators, FMD, IT departments, Design, procurement, and other stakeholders, to understand and meet the biomedical-Electronics needs
- periodically supervising and checking the quality of work and effectiveness of other team members
- accountable for maintaining key performance targets, safety standards, and performance assurance to pursue requirements of accrediting bodies in the assigned areas
- providing technical and administrative support for internal audits, incident management, and RCA
- execute efficient management of the department's budget, helping establish budget estimates, ensure effective use of resources, and assist in ensuring that expenditure is controlled within agreed cash limits in compliance with the hospital’s financial instructions
- establishing and maintaining communication links to ensure vertical and lateral effective communication
- establishing work schedules and job responsibilities in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for the Biomedical Engineering department
- training and directing the employees to establish a high level of job competency and mentor junior employees to develop their skill set
- maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations
- managing and maintaining appropriate stock and inventory of critical equipment and spares
- identifying gaps and enhancing the existing BME operation processes as well as adopting innovative solutions to enhance the system
- completing the ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned
- Proficiency in managing relationships with equipment vendors and ensuring timely delivery of services.
Skills Required:
- extensive knowledge of Maintenance of IOT enable ELV systems,
- maintenance and rectifying the issues related to advanced level of IOT-enabled centralized software
- maintenance, repairing, and rectifying the issues of the HVAC control system of the building
- maintenance of Hardware and software of the HVAC control system
- maintenance of Hardware and software of fire safety and security system:
- CCTV, fire alarms, lockdown, access control, Emergency announcement system
- maintenance of hardware and software of the Nurse call system, and maintenance of Hardware and software of HIGH KVA modular UPS.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
applicant should have:
- a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from an HEC-recognized university with 04 years of technical and management experienceOR
- master’s degree in engineering or management discipline will be preferred with at least 02 years of experience in a technical role in the healthcare industry (preferably working in a large complex technical environment)
- strong communication, and people management skills
- the ability to work under pressing timelines in a competitive environment
- strong organizational skills and ability to perform multi-task and prioritize execution
- the ability to work independently as well as a team player
- the ability to learn technical concepts, new skills, and knowledge quickly
