Minimum 7-8 years of relevant process and mining environment experience.
Hand on experience of HV, MV & LV equipment’s including Switchgears, Transformers, motors, VFDs.
Hands on experience of Configuration, Testing, Commissioning and Troubleshooting of ABB, siemens, Schneider drives /switchgears/motors. Hand on experience of MV, LV cable termination and jointing. Hand on experience of all type of AC & DC MV / LV motors overhauling/rewinding.
Experience of HFO, diesel thermal power Gen (1-300 MW), ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications, engineering standards, and safety regulations.
Experience of project execution and integration of Solar Power Plant (1-150 MW) in hybrid arrangements.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of electrical drawings (SLD and PID), managing electrical substation compliances with safety and environmental standards.
Knowledge of BESS will be added advantage.
Proficiency in operating electrical testing tools to diagnose electrical faults and verify system integrity.
Proficiency in operating underground utility locator along with underground cable fault detection and mitigation.
Understanding of basic computer skills, including software tools relevant to electrical engineering, project management, and communication platforms will be preferred.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee a team of skilled electricians and technicians in the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly assigned electrical tasks.
Manage MV and LV power reticulation and safety compliance of camp and project facility.
Conduct routine inspections to identify and address electrical faults, failures, NC to standard and inefficiencies in a timely manner.
Manage the installation, commissioning, and upgrades of electrical infrastructure, including power distribution networks, lighting systems, and control panels.
Managing critical inventory and implementing predictive/preventive maintenance activities.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to mitigate electrical hazards and prevent accidents or incidents.
