Position Drafter and Data Controller
Location Reko Diq SITE - Balochistan
Qualification
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 

Experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in drafting, data management, and geospatial analysis. 
  • Proven expertise in earthworks calculations, road design, and geomatics workflows. 

Requirements
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Global Mapper. 
  • Familiarity with terrain modeling, volume calculations, and drainage design. 
  • Advanced skills in drone data processing and LiDAR point cloud analysis. 
  • Knowledge of database management tools (e.g., MS Excel, Access, or SQL). 
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Proficiency in geospatial data analysis and visualization. 
  • Expertise in earthworks calculations, road alignments, and drainage designs.
  • Strong understanding of survey workflows and geomatics technology. 
  • Commitment to maintaining data accuracy, security, and integrity. 

Responsibilities
  • Supply survey data, maps, alignments, and drawings daily to support field teams.
  • Prepare necessary materials and respond to survey requests for efficient execution.
  • Coordinate with field teams to verify data accuracy and make necessary adjustments.
  • Develop precise technical drawings, layouts, and maps using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.
  • Design earthworks, road alignments, and site layouts in line with project requirements.
  • Generate terrain models, contours, and topographic visualizations for engineering applications.
  • Process and analyze raw survey data from GPS, LiDAR, drones, and total stations.
  • Conduct earthwork volume calculations, cut-and-fill analysis, and slope grading designs.
  • Perform geospatial analysis to create topographic maps, cross-sections, and profiles.
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D models for road designs, drainage layouts, and infrastructure planning.
  • Integrate survey data into project workflows using GIS and terrain modeling tools.
  • Organize, store, and manage large datasets while ensuring accuracy and version control.
  • Conduct quality checks on survey data and drafted outputs to maintain industry standards.
  • Standardize workflows and templates for consistency in data handling and documentation.
  • Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to integrate data into design plans.
  • Prepare detailed reports on survey findings, volume calculations, and design updates.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on survey data management and drafting processes.
  • Utilize advanced tools, including drones, LiDAR, and GIS, to enhance drafting and analysis.
  • Explore and implement innovations in drafting, data management, and workflow optimization.
  • Stay updated on software advancements, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Maintain meticulous records of drawings, calculations, and survey data files.
  • Ensure proper archiving and accessibility of historical data for compliance and future use.
