Your New Role…
This position exists to manage and lead Order-to-Cash workstreams of Warner Bros. Discovery WBD Advertising, Affiliate Distribution, and Direct-to-Consumer Subscription revenue streams. Through partnership with the Vice President and Global BPO, this person will help plan, organize and monitor the use of resources required to provide high quality and cost effective OTC service delivery. Duties to include daily management of O2C processes and frequent engagement with business stakeholders. This position works closely with OTC management, finance, accounting, and sales teams to drive operational results, process efficiencies, standardization and enhancements to improve key financial measures and metrics.
Your Role Accountabilities…
- Provide oversite and functional leadership to the Order to Cash (O2C) Shared Service Center by leading end-to-end OTC processes and guiding global BPO services
- Collaborate cross functionally within the organization improve O2C processes and provide excellent service to internal and external customers
- Identify and sponsor strategic initiatives aimed at improving the order to cash process, invoice accuracy, cash inflow, and reducing operational cost
- Build strong relationships and work closely with finance, sales, BPO and operational leadership as it pertains to the organization and delivery of the order to cash process
- Develop, monitor, and improve key performance metrics to measure the quality and efficiency of the Order-to-Cash processes
- Drive continuous process improvement within the GBS Order-to-Cash organization, and ensure all policies and processes are efficient and aligned with business objectives
- Ensure Financial Compliance to company’s policies and best practices
- Manages key metrics to ensure compliance with service level agreements, KPI’s and benchmarks against industry leaders
Qualifications & Experience…
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field is preferred
- Fluent in English mandatory
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance
- Accounts Receivable, Billing and Finance experience required
- Subject matter expert on O2C processes
- Experience leading a global and diverse team
- Experience developing and executing standard processes across a global organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations
- Experience in the Media Industry and/or Media Sales is preferred
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint)
- Experience with ERP (SAP) & boundary systems
