Our Engineering team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the systems and technologies that drive Unifonic’s solutions. We work closely with other departments to ensure our products and services meet the needs of our customers. If you are passionate about technology and are excited about working on cutting-edge communication and engagement solutions, we want you on our team.
As a Devops Intern, you will help us build the infrastructure that supports scalable, secure, and high-performance communication systems. At Unifonic, we don’t just focus on the tools—we focus on understanding how technologies drive our business forward. You’ll learn how to manage large-scale systems and automate workflows in a dynamic environment, gaining hands-on experience with modern DevOps methodologies. Help us shape the future of communications by:


  • Collaborating with developers, system administrators, and QA engineers to ensure seamless code releases and infrastructure automation.


  • Automating workflows and assisting in building and improving Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines.


  • Gaining experience managing cloud infrastructure and containerized applications using platforms like AWS, OCI, and others, understanding how cloud technologies empower business operations.


  • Helping maintain and improve infrastructure-as-code practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.


  • Participating in the monitoring and optimization of critical infrastructure using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.


  • Working with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, focusing on how these technologies are used to scale and support real-time services.


  • Getting involved in security best practices, understanding the role secure configurations and automation play in maintaining a robust infrastructure.



What you will bring:


  • Undergrads from Computer Science are welcome to apply or fresh graduates with  a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • Basic Linux/Unix Knowledge: Understanding of Linux commands and environment, as most DevOps tasks involve managing Linux servers.
  • Programming/Scripting Skills: Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate tasks.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with Git, including basic operations like branching, merging, and pull requests.
  • CI/CD Basics: Awareness of the concept of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, and ideally some hands-on experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Cloud Fundamentals: Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Containers and Virtualization: Some experience or familiarity with Docker and containerization, as well as virtualization tools.
  • Networking Basics: Understanding of basic networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, DNS, ports, HTTP/HTTPS).
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong interest in communication platforms and technology
  • English speaker with superb written and verbal communication skills
