Introduction

Responsibilities


You will be responsible to:


·work as staff clinician - educator and researcher by working in the AKUH Consultant Dental Clinic and teaching in the Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene Program (ASDH) Dental Hygiene Student Clinic


·capacity building of future dental hygienists for the Dental Hygiene Programme


·provide instruction to dental hygiene students through demonstration and exercises while in the dental hygiene Simulation Lab, clinic, and classroom


·supervise and evaluate the students in the Simulation lab (pre-clinical), clinical dental hygiene, dental radiology, and dental materials lab.


Requirements


You must have: 


·diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene (preferably a bachelor's or master's), with 2–3 years of clinical and teaching experience.


·strong conceptual knowledge, clinical competence, and familiarity with modern teaching methodologies.


·experience in research methodologies, academic writing, and the ability to initiate research.


·ability to coordinate teams, manage educational programs, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.


·proficiency in technology, strong analytical abilities, and knowledge of educational leadership.


·team player with strong organizational skills, and commitment to continuous learning.


·Willingness to adapt to assigned duties and work schedules.
