Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead our professional services team. This role will focus primarily on managing team performance, improving processes, and overseeing project execution to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and team leadership, with a commitment to optimizing internal workflows and enhancing service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the professional services team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, collaborating closely with development teams to align project milestones with technical requirements and best practices.
- Oversee project execution and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Serve as a resource manager, effectively allocating team members based on project needs and individual strengths.
- Implement best practices in project management, including risk assessment and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize resource allocation and support strategic objectives.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance and support for professional development.
- Analyze project outcomes and team processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a delivery management role within professional services, consulting, or a related industry.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with experience in coordinating with development teams to ensure project requirements, technical dependencies, and quality standards are met.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on internal team dynamics and performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in resource management and project planning tools.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and drive internal initiatives.
