We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as the Dean of the renowned Medical Institution. As a renowned medical institution, It is committed to excellence in medical education, research, and healthcare.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an established scholar with a strong medical or basic science background to lead our Medical Institution. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, teaching, and research, and will be responsible for overseeing the academic, administrative, and financial aspects of the institution.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Medical Institution
- Recruit, develop, and manage faculty and staff
- Oversee undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching and research programs
- Manage budgetary and financial matters relating to the medical school
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration
- Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare organizations, industry, and government agencies
- Report to the Board of Governors
Requirements:
- Medical or basic science qualification (MBBS or equivalent)
- Higher Diploma (FCPS, FRCP, FRCS, or US Board certification or equivalent)
- Ph.D. degree in a medical science (desirable)
- At least 7 years of administrative experience leading a department, unit, program, or institution
- Recognized leadership qualities and a track record in teaching and research
- Commitment to medical education and research
