Job Description

Job Summary:


The Data Scientist is responsible for analyzing large volumes of data to extract meaningful insights, build AI models thus helping data-driven decision-making within the organization. This role involves working with complex datasets, developing algorithms, and employing statistical, machine learning, deep learning, and other AI techniques to solve business challenges. The Data Scientist collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, process, and analyze structured and unstructured data from various sources to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning and deep learning models, algorithms, and predictive analytics to solve business problems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business questions, identify data needs, and determine the best analytical approaches.
  • Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Work with data engineers and software engineers to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and scalability of data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
  • Document processes, models, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility


RequirementsTechnical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL, experience in NoSQL is a plus.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, predictive modeling and deep learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of A/B testing, experimentation, and causal inference methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience:

  • 3-5 years in data science, analytics, or a related field, related libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, langchain).
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
