Your Role

As a Mid Data Registration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading a section of the Registration Pipeline. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing processes, automating workflows for scalability, and collaborating with development teams to optimize pipeline efficiency. You'll be a technical guide for team members, assisting in problem-solving, scoping projects, and providing operational support to data acquisition teams. Utilizing tools such as Leica Cyclone Register 360 and Agisoft Metashape, you will perform data registration and contribute to the overall success of the team by conducting analyses, generating reports, and providing training to enhance data capture capabilities.

About the Job

Responsibilities

• Lead a section of the Registration Pipeline, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance pipeline processes.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and assist in problem-solving.
• Scope projects and offer operational support to data acquisition teams.
• Conduct data registration using software like Leica Cyclone Register 360 and Agisoft Metashape.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and project managers to meet project requirements.
• Perform analyses, generate reports, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Provide training to team members for skill enhancement.

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge and experience in data registration processes.
• Proficiency in Leica Cyclone Register 360, Leica 3DR, and Agisoft Metashape.
• Strong understanding of photogrammetry processes and data acquisition principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively and solve problems effectively.
• Basic understanding of the Python programming language.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with other data registration tools and software.
• Profound knowledge of Photogrammetry process and softwares.
• Experience in cloud-based data processing and storage.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages for automation.
• Previous experience in conducting training sessions.
• Strong project management skills.

Experience Requirement

Sound knowledge of Abyss's delivery pipelines. 

Qualifications

A bachelor's level qualification in mechatronics/mechanical background academically is preferred. A Masters level qualification in a relevant field of engineering is a plus.
