We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Develop and document Data Protection (backup) strategies and architectures.
- Design, implement, and manage Data Protection (backup) solution for Veritas NetBackup and Commvault backup and recovery systems
- Manage, configuration and implementation skills in Veritas NetBackup and Commvault platform.
- Ensure that all storage and backup systems are compliant with industry standards and regulations
- Plan and implement backup and recovery solutions, ensuring data protection and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Provide engineering support on the bank’s data protection products and their standard usage.
- Undertake product evaluation, new features, and versions.
- Recommend appropriate technologies and solutions based on business needs and technical requirements
- Manage data lifecycle, including archiving, deletion, and retention policies.
- Ensure data integrity and security through proper storage and backup configurations
- Mentor less experienced members of staff
