Job Role / Responsibilities:


Reporting to Manager/ Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the team to ensure the re-ordering, receiving, availability, safe and secure storage, preservation, issuance and charging of supplies (stock & non-stock items) to user departments. Further, you will be responsible for the safe custody of institutional inventory (supplies and equipment) as per assigned responsibilities.


Specific responsibilities include:


  • follow institutional policies related to functional responsibilities, code of ethics, discipline, acceptance of gifts, anti-fraud, and other HR related policies
  • plan and co-ordinate with end users to ensure delivery and replenishment of inventory within allowable time to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • ensure effective, safe, accurate and timely stock management to include space allocation, stock transfer and dealing with non-confirming & expired products
  • receiving, storage, preservation, monitoring, issuance, expiry monitoring and disposal of items stored in assign areas; this is to be done in compliance with department’s policies and procedures
  • ensure proper records such as receiving, issuance, inspection, picking, expiry reports, discrepancy, disposal etc. are maintained at all times
  • organise and ensure accurate and periodic cycle counts and stock takes to report physical variances on quarterly basis. Deploy regular checks to reconcile stock adjustments
  • all aspects of the effective supervision, training & development and personal safety standards
  • close coordination with users/ internal customers to ensure desired level of services
  • monthly expiry monitoring and quarterly inventory counting
  • material disposal processing
  • monitoring teams and ensure compliance as per institution guidelines assign to them
  • coordinate and participate in various internal and external audits compliances
  • besides, above, the staff may be assigned additional/ new responsibilities or rotated to other departments as per the need of the institution.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:


You should have:


  • bachelor of Business Administration degree or equivalent qualification in a related area. MBA would be preferred.
  • diploma / Certifications in Supply Chain will be an added advantage
  • 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain preferably in Warehouse or Store management
  • knowledge/ Experience of working in healthcare sector will be preferable
  • hands on knowledge of working on ERP/ WMS/ Store Management systems
  • hands on knowledge of inventory management/ store management/ stock counts/ expiry management/ FEFO compliance / Cold Chain Management
  • expert level knowledge of computer software specifically command over MS Office / Excel/ Outlook
  • excellent interpersonal and analytical skills. Able to analyse things critically
  • excellent communication skills (Oral & Written)
  • ability to understand the needs of customers and ensure effective liaison with management and subordinate
  • maintain confidentiality related to departmental correspondence and records
  • help control the cost of operations.
