Compliance Officer

Eligibility:

• Candidates should ideally possess at least a Bachelor's degree from an HEC-recognized institute/university.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of compliance experience, preferably in currency exchange operations.

Skills Required:

• Strong written and oral communication, along with comprehension skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, report writing, and drafting.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
• Strong analytical and research skills.

Responsibilities:

• Real-time transaction monitoring.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements regarding financial transactions and currency exchange.
• Perform name screening of customers through the Financial Management System (FMS).
• Conduct risk assessment and enhanced due diligence of customers.
• Handle LEA inquiries.
• Update NACTA, SBP Schedule IV, FIA/CTD Red Book, and Black Book lists.
• Investigate STR/CTR transactions and assist the Compliance Manager in reporting STR/CTR to FMU.
• Respond to regulatory inquiries, ensuring all necessary documentation is readily available.
• Assist branches regarding violations and incorrect screening of customers to mitigate compliance risks.
• Any other task assigned by the Compliance Manager.
