About the Job


The core purpose of this role is to provide reporting and analytical support to senior management in the areas of data generation, consolidation, analysis, and reporting related to Business results, sell in, sell through, trade inventory, retail and operational KPIs, revenue forecasting and reporting etc.


Key Responsibilities


​1. Stock Allocation: Strategically allocate stock to stores based on sales trends, store capacity, and regional demand to ensure optimal product availability.


2. Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze store performance, identifying underperforming stock and making recommendations for reallocation or promotional activities.


3. Inter-store Transfers: Manage the inter-store transfer process, moving slow-moving inventory to locations where it can sell faster.


4. Replenishment Planning: Work closely with the commercial team to continuously refine replenishment strategies, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.


5. Coordination:


  • Collaborate with the commercial and retail teams to gather feedback on product performance and make data-driven decisions on stock replenishment.
  • Provide timely, ongoing tracking and feedback to commercial team.
  • Provide coordination or administration support to the retail teams for projects or tasks related to Sell In & Sell Through functions as necessary.
  • Facilitate Retail Ops & Training Manager in rolling out new systems and updating current systems.
  • Extract retail operation reports and share with commercial team.

6. Data Analytics:


  • Responsible for extracting data from various data source (XPERT POS, Data Warehouse, etc.).
  • Consolidate and submit standard APD and local affiliate reports as per frequency and timeline required.
  • Consolidate and provide any ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Develop new templates or improve on current spreadsheets to provide user friendly and meaningful data.
  • On-going process improvements to ensure data consolidation is done in an optimal manner.
  • Analyze and provide a robust summary or overview of reports generated (e.g. actual vs. forecast, etc.)
  • Monitor and provide market related data where necessary as a value-add info.
  • Ensure reports generated are named, filed in proper order in the respective data storage spaces (digital or hardcopy).
  • Custodian of reports generated – able to retrieve and provide reports as and when requested.
  • Responsible for managing all retail ops related systems & tool and ensure data integrity at all times.

Job Requirement


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in management sciences/accounting & finance, economics from a reputable business school.

Experience:


  • At least 1-2 years’ related experience, preferably in Retail/FMCG/Tech companies in similar data centric roles.

Functional Competencies:


  • Advanced Excel Expertise: Proficiency in complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and PowerPivot.
  • Power BI: Experience in creating sophisticated, visually engaging dashboards, data modeling, and report optimization.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Ability to analyze complex datasets, generate insights, and communicate findings effectively across all levels of the organization. Able to work on state-of-the-art digital eco system and reporting tools to facilitate business decision making.
  • Advanced level knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to data management, stock allocation, and report generation, ensuring the highest level of accuracy.
  • Business Acumen: A strong understanding of business finance and the ability to align data analysis with strategic business goals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Strong planning and time management skills.
  • Able to maintain good awareness of industry related trends.
  • Excellent interdepartmental coordination skills.
