Responsibilities
Classify and catalogue materials, including products, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate data entry into the catalogue system.
Assign unique identification codes, descriptions, and specifications to items for easy tracking and retrieval.
Maintain and update the catalogue database, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Work closely with procurement, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date records for all items.
Monitor and review catalogue data to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, or outdated information, taking corrective action as needed.
Conduct regular audits of the catalogue system to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Provide support to internal departments by assisting with catalogue queries and ensuring timely access to catalogued items.
Implement and maintain cataloguing standards and best practices, following company policies and industry guidelines.
Assist in the development and improvement of cataloguing processes and systems, working closely with IT and operational teams.
Generate reports and provide analysis on catalogue data to support decision-making and inventory management.
