Job Brief: We are seeking a passionate and technically proficient Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer with 2-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, a solid understanding of data analysis, and a strong desire to learn and explore new technologies. This role involves developing and maintaining BI solutions, creating data pipelines, and developing models and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Design and maintain BI reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, AWS Quicksight, and Looker.
Perform data analysis and exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and insights that support business objectives.
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data with a strong understanding of data pipelines and dependencies.
Understand data modeling, transformations, and data warehousing.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular validation, quality checks, and data health checks.
Communicate findings through data stories, presentations, and visualizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong command of SQL; knowledge of Python is a plus.
Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc. (At least one of them).
Experience with cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Basic understanding of data warehousing, data marts, slowly changing dimensions (SCDs), and OLAP cubes.
A portfolio showcasing work on dashboarding and BI projects is advantageous.
