Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. Staff, direct a sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contribute to the development of training and educational programs for clients and Account Executives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial
1. Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
2. Provide timely accurate competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
3. Maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales and activity reports submitted by Account Executives
4. Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
5. To convert the inquiries into sales for company.
6. To write proposals & quotation for clients.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Excellent Negotiation skills.
9. To build and maintain our Social Profile
Customer
1. Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses
2. Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
3. Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
Internal Process
1. Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects
2. Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets
3. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
4. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team
5. Ensure that all Account Executives meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes
6. Delegate authority and responsibility with accountability and follow-up
7. Set examples for Account Executives in areas of personal character, commitment, organisational and selling skills and work habits
1. 2+ years experience in a BD Management role
2. Experience within an IT and/or Education background
3. Fluent in English
