SUMMARY OF THE ROLE


This position will be responsible to promote and sell Protective products to new and existing Key customers/Key Accounts in a given area by developing strong customer relationships, liaising with the client market, and responding to sales and technical inquiries in order to achieve the budgeted sales, collections, gross margin, customer satisfaction targets and to ensure that Jotun is seen as a preferred supplier of high-quality products, solutions, and services with the aim of increasing Jotun market share and profitability.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for Protective Coatings business development by performing market visits, managing key accounts, tracking new projects and influencing specifications to ensure targeted growth is achieved.
  • Create new Protective Coatings customers by analyzing the market, plan visits to potential customers, and swift response to quotations and inquiries in order to secure growth and increase market share.
  • Gather customer needs, market trends, and competition information and analyze competitive dynamics and market trends, including market size, market share, customer segments, buying factors, competitive position, etc.
  • To follow up and monitor Key Projects closely by ensuring Jotun’s Protective products are used in order to achieve the targeted sales budget.
  • Follow up and monitor customers on proper pricing and to ensure achievement of targeted gross margin and timely collection.
  • Create and maintain data and be an active user of customer database.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely delivery and good customer service.

What we are looking for:


  • A Bachelor's degree in any relevant field. MBA would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of Business Development Experience in relevant field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English language is a plus.
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking, negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
