Job Description

Overview BU Projects Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading Engineering Projects from ideation through to completion at national level. The role covers 2 Factories and Agro facilities with team spread out location wise. It requires close coordination and interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously. Responsibilities Ensure all Capex projects are planned, driven, and completed within specified budgets, timelines, and as per company policies. Maintain a continuous focus on EHS standards and ensure all projects conform to regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain positive relationships with external suppliers, machine manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure successful project delivery. PepsiCo Project Management methodology and Initiative Management techniques to ensure projects are executed efficiently and detailed accurately. Collaborate with production and other stakeholders to optimize prioritization, manage Capex expenditure within budget, and provide necessary documentation for project approval. Foster a culture of openness and continuous improvement within the team, ensuring proper training, succession planning, and regular performance reviews. Work closely with local Operations, Procurement, and other business partners to ensure projects align with company policies and strategies. Promote continuous improvement, share knowledge across functions, and implement best practices to enhance project outcomes and speed-to-market Foster a culture of openness and continuous improvement within the team, ensuring proper training, succession planning, and regular performance reviews. Promote continuous improvement, share knowledge across functions, and implement best practices to enhance project outcomes and speed-to-market Qualifications Knowledge/Skill Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical PMP Certification is preferred. Experience University degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics) with 8-10 years of project management experience in manufacturing facilities. Strong understanding of factory operations, mechanical engineering, and basic electrical engineering, with experience in design documentation, testing, and equipment commissioning. High-level interpersonal skills, effective time and change management abilities, and experience in contract management with good negotiation skills. Good knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S), factory operations, financial controls, budgetary accounting, and legal requirements for contracts and agreements. Ensure all projects have an approved Business Case, are completed on time and within budget, and all necessary documentation for legal, financial, and reporting is completed
