Boiler Engineer

The Shift Boiler Engineer is responsible for heading shift of Cogen plant & utilities.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operation – Overall operation of Boilers at Co-gen and Utilities department. Further responsible for the operation of Turbine House, Cooling Tower, Coal Crusher & Conveying, Lime crushing and conveying, ash handling, Water treatment, compressed air, LPG / SNG & raw water systems. To ensure proper working of tube wells for ground water supply. To ensure efficient operation of wastewater treatment and ensure the compliance of NEQS of effluent water discharge from WWTP
- Documentation – To maintain logbooks, daily reports, SAP notifications, production data, consumption data, issuance from store
- Quality Assurance – To check the quality of boiler feed water, boiler blow down, process water and condensate return periodically during the shift. To ensure the proper function of canal water settling system
- Efficient Performance & KPIs – To control the loss due to leakage of steam, water, gas, air, condensate at all the process plants. To close valve in case of any major leakage of steam, steam condensate, water, gas, furnace oil and air. To meet the targets assigned as KPIs by the management.
- EHS – To ensure the proper working of safety devices, compliance of PPEs and environmental policies & PEQs.
Qualified candidates will have:
Mandatory requirements:
- 1st Class Boiler Competency Certificate.
- 1-2 Year experience for the operation and troubleshooting of Utilities plant.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgy
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good communication skills.
Desirable requirements:
- Experience of SAP is advantageous.
- Professional level English language skill is desirable.
