Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Backend Developer with a strong focus on SQL programming and optimisation to join our dynamic development team. This role requires expertise in creating efficient, complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support high-performance applications. Ideal candidates should have a proven track record in SQL programming and back-end API development, with a deep understanding of SQL Server or other relational databases.

Responsibilities:

• Database Programming:

  • Design, develop, and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures to support our applications requirements.

    
    

  • Develop database objects such as views, indexes, functions, and triggers to improve performance and scalability.

    
    
• API and Backend Development:

  • Work with .NET and related technologies to build, maintain, and optimise APIs that interface with SQL databases.

    
    

  • Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless data flow and system functionality.

    
    
• Performance Optimisation:

  • Conduct in-depth performance tuning and optimisation of SQL queries to improve system performance.

    
    

  • Analyse execution plans and implement indexing strategies to minimise query response times.

    
    
• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product teams, database administrators, and developers to align on project requirements.

    
    

  • Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing within the team.

    
    

Experience:

3+ years in backend development with a strong focus on SQL Server programming.

Work Timings:

• Days: Monday to Friday
• Core Hours: 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM (with a 1-hour break)
• Flexible Hours: 1.5 hours can be worked between 9:00 to 10:30 AM or 6:00 to 7:30 PM
• Total Work Hours: 8 hours
