Job Title: Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Role Overview:
As a Associate SQA Engineer, you will contribute to the quality of diverse projects, including AI applications, chatbots, web platforms, and mobile applications. Your role focuses on ensuring high standards through manual testing, with opportunities to grow into automated testing. You'll enhance user experience and maintain product integrity by identifying defects and collaborating with the team.

Key Responsibilities
Test Case and Test Plan Development:

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with project requirements and user needs.

Performance Testing:

• Support performance testing efforts using JMeter, focusing on load and stress test execution.
• Assist in analyzing performance results and reporting findings.

Usability and User Experience Testing:

• Conduct usability tests to evaluate design and user-friendliness.
• Provide feedback on UX improvements based on test results.

Communication and Reporting:

• Document test activities, defects, and results clearly for team review.
• Share findings with stakeholders in meetings or written reports.

Internal Quality Assurance:

• Follow QA processes and standards set by the team.
• Identify and report potential risks or issues during testing.

Platform-Independent Testing:

• Test applications across platforms like Android, iOS, web, and backend systems with guidance.
• Adapt to different testing environments as needed.

White Box and Black Box Testing:

• Perform black box testing to validate functionality and user-facing elements.
• Assist with basic white box testing if familiar with code structures.

API and Integration Testing:

• Conduct API testing using Postman to verify data interactions.
• Report issues in API functionality or integration.

Team Collaboration:

• Work with developers and product managers to resolve issues.
• Participate in release planning and testing cycles.

Self-Directed Work:

• Manage assigned tasks with clear instructions and seek help when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years in software QA, with hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to identify defects and analyze test results.
• API Testing: Basic proficiency with Postman for API validation.
• Performance Testing: Familiarity with JMeter for load testing (execution, not design).
• Communication: Clear verbal and written skills for reporting defects and test outcomes.
• Team Player: Willingness to collaborate and learn from team members.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML Testing: Exposure to testing AI or chatbot applications.
• Mobile Testing: Familiarity with Android/iOS testing or tools like Appium.
• Basic Programming: Knowledge of scripting or coding basics (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Usability Testing Skills: Interest in UX testing and user satisfaction.
• White Box Testing: Basic understanding of code-level testing.
