The services are provided through multidisciplinary teams. Infrastructure facilities include a daycare setting dedicated to oncology patients. Outpatient facilities include clinics of Medical, Hematology, Pediatric, Radiation, and Palliative Care. The Department has a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education and research. Residency programs are offered in Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, and Clinical Hematology Oncology, and a fellowship program in Pediatric Oncology. This is a grant-funded contractual position.Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:- assisting in organizing departmental events, including conferences, workshops, courses, and symposiums
- providing support to various departmental committees
- collaborating with department team members and key stakeholders, such as Food Services, Finance, and Purchase departments
- developing and maintaining strategies related to clinical, educational, fellowship, and research activities within the Department of Oncology
- preparing and editing documents for presentations, SPSS analyses, and publications, and disseminating them to relevant stakeholders
- taking continuous follow-ups with support departments to ensure the timely completion of work
- preparing budget sheets and maintaining the GVR for grant-related records
- making presentations on behalf of the Department as required
- playing a role in research audits, maintaining files, and supporting quality certifications (ISO, JCIA) to ensure alignment with the institution's vision and mission.
Requirements:
You should have:- a Master’s degree, preferably MBA
- a minimum of two years of management experience in the service industry, ideally within a healthcare institution
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan and implement process improvements for work management
- ability to manage correspondence and assignments independently, without the need for close supervision
- strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to build positive relationships
- the ability to make independent decisions on operational activities within the scope of established policies and procedures
- commitment to ongoing professional development and training to support a culture of learning within the department
- proficiency in computer software, particularly MS Office and SPSS
- excellent organizational skills, with the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- strong project management skills.
