We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President QC, Human Resource Advisory

Principal responsibilities


  • Help Establish a robust Quality Assurance (QA) culture across HR Advisory.
  • Ensure accurate and timely output of Quality Checking, ensuring results are accurately recorded as per accepted standards. Demonstrates effective, timely communication with key stakeholders related to individual cases.
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities for Investigators and provide feedback to Line Managers and Investigators that will enhance the quality of investigations.
  • Identify themes of repeated quality issues and or improvements to current policy and process, working with Independent Quality Assurance to drive improvements.
  • Act as a Quality SME for Investigators and Line Managers.
  • Establish effective relationships with Independent Quality Assurance.
  • Develop and maintain a collaborative working relationship with relevant HR Advisory Investigators and other relevant functions, key business stakeholders both internal and external as directed.
  • Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards and observe the Group HR FIM, including adherence with recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.
  • Highlight where processes could be improved or simplified.
  • Ensure all QC work is completed to standards set within  Investigation QA , applying Global and Local instruction knowledge for area being assessed i.e. considering any local dispensations, sampling based on risk.
  • Use the ServiceNow tools to manage queries effectively, ensuring case details are logged accurately and no data or privacy risk concerns.
