WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE


  • Procurement operations for Skin Care raw & packaging material operations


  • Supplier Sourcing and Evaluation:


  • Identify and assess potential material suppliers and third-party manufacturing partners based on safety, quality, capacity, capability, and cost-effectiveness.


  • Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure suppliers meet quality and regulatory standards.


  • Govern the compliance and regularly evaluate the supplier performance.


  • Negotiation and Contracting:


  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and agreements with suppliers and third-party manufacturers to secure the best possible terms.


  • Draft and manage contracts, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met.


  • Supplier Relationship Management:


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external manufacturing partners, fostering open communication and collaboration.


  • Regularly assess supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.


  • Supply Chain Coordination:


  • Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, quality assurance, planning and regulatory affairs, to ensure smooth production and delivery processes.


  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory.


  • Risk Management:


  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.


  • Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics that could impact the supply chain.


  • Data Analysis and Reporting:


  • Collect and analyse data related to supplier performance, costs, and other relevant metrics.


  • Generate regular reports to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.


  • Continuous Improvement:


  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs within the third-party manufacturing supply chain.


  • Partnering Local Pakistan B&W Business team:


  • Explaining material forecasts and cost movements


  • Generating Business as Usual and Lighthouse Savings for the Business


  • Looking at VCI Value Chain Intervention Opportunities


  • Driving Competitive Buying, generating and expanding benefits vs market


  • Enabling Service Level Improvements in a volatile environment


  • Driving Localisation of Materials


  • Exhibit committment to Unilever’s sustainably lead business model, connected with Unilever and the business agenda. 


WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED


Experiences & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any of the following areas desired: Engineering, Business, Economics, Supply Chain


Skills


  • Ability to negotiate complex contracts and innovations


  • Ability to present and explain complex ideas to a senior audience


  • Possesses and exercises a strong understanding of the financial aspects related to procurement activities (spend, payment term impacts, savings and cost avoidance, P&L, etc.)

  • Outstanding in idea generation, particularly ideas that are forward thinking, and that contribute to creating sustained competitive advantage
