Assistant Manager Quality Control

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position:              Assistant Manager Quality Control   

Reporting to:        Manager Chemical        

Division:              Established Pharmaceutical Division - Operation

Location:             Karachi -Pakistan

Job Summary:

Support the Chemical Manager by conducting all tests within the Raw Material section, including sampling, TMV, and manufacturing-related projects. Also Provide Support for EHS activities, Chemical Compatibilities of all chemicals used in QC Lab also ensure their storage as per MSD and maintain hazardous sign (GEHS) labelling.

Major Responsibilities:

• Assistant Manager must ensure to Manager that the activities in his Section of responsibilities do not result Delay or non-availability of raw materials / products                                                        
• Assistant Manager must support in Goals setting Raw Material section, review, and completion before the end of every year
• Assist Manager Chemical for technical problem resolution in respective Raw material Section
• Provide support to Manager Chemical / Chemical Manager in TMV of routine and new revised monographs of raw materials as per USP / BP / EP etc
• Provide support to QC and Raw material section for daily labelling of Distilled Water on water bottles, Carboy, and Eye Wash bottles in QC Lab
• Assist Manager Chemical in testing for validation of new analytical methods, Vendor Trial samples, Raw Material Sampling / ID of material in Warehouse and project related testing
• Support Manager Chemical to perform routine Water testing and Validation water samples along with complete documentation in Raw material section
• To provide support to Manager Chemical for on time completion of Monthly trainings / Isotrain or on need basis trainings in Raw material section throughout the year
• Provide support to manage the inventory of Chemicals

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

• Science Graduate/Master; preferably Chemist/Pharm D
• 4-5 years’ experience in the same capacity 
• Knowledge of technical problem resolution
• Proficient in MS Office
• Analytical Skills
