About the job Assistant Manager Production

● assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met


● specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers


● investigating and setting standards for quality and health and safety


● working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures


● Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues


● writing management and technical reports and customers’ charters


● Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied


● Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output


● Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data


● Review current standards and policies


● Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation


● Communicate with external quality assurance officers during on-site inspections


● Ensure all legal standards are met


● Formulate strategies to increase productivity.


● Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met.


● Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
