Position Title: Assistant Manager, Finance On-Campus

Location: Karachi

Job Role / Responsibilities:


Specifically, you will be responsible to:


  • Assist the annual budgeting process, including preparation, review, and consolidation of budgets across departments and units.
  • Monitor budget adherence and recommend corrective actions for variances.
  • Provide guidance to department heads on budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support short- and long-term planning.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align financial plans with strategic objectives.
  • Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to assess financial risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory and organizational reporting standards.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Develop metrics and KPIs to track operational and financial performance.
  • Work closely with clinical and operational teams to understand financial implications of initiatives.
  • Serve as a financial advisor to senior management and other stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications partly qualified (e.g., CA, ICMA, ACCA etc)
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in finance, with a strong focus on budgeting and planning. Prior experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with accounting standards and financial regulations.Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
