Job Overview:
The
Application Officer is responsible for managing and processing visa
applications for clients seeking skilled migration. The role includes assessing
client eligibility, preparing required documents, lodging applications, and ensuring
the smooth handling of visa processes in compliance with relevant immigration
laws. The officer will collaborate with the consultancy team to provide
exceptional client support and help achieve successful visa outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and review documentation
from clients for completeness and accuracy.
Ensure applications meet specific
criteria and are filed within deadlines. - Conduct initial assessments of
client eligibility for skilled immigration pathways based on their professional
qualifications, experience, and language skills.
- Inform clients about their
eligibility status and available immigration options.
Assist clients in gathering
necessary supporting documents (certificates, work references, etc.). - Verify the authenticity of documents
provided.
- Ensure proper organization and
storage of all client files for future reference.
- Serve as the primary point of
contact for clients regarding their application status.
- Provide regular updates to clients
throughout the visa application process.
- Respond to client inquiries and
resolve any issues or concerns related to their application.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in
immigration laws, rules, and policies.
- Ensure all applications comply with
the latest immigration regulations and procedural requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all
lodged applications, including processing timelines and outcomes.
Generate weekly and monthly reports
on application progress and outcomes for management review. - Conduct pre-lodgement checks to
ensure that all information is accurate and meets the required standards.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree.
- 0-2 year of experience in immigration services, visa processing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of skilled immigration policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in using immigration case management software and MS Office.
- Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Work hours (6:30 am to 2:30 pm) (Onsite)
