Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist with over 5 years of experience in technical roles within large organizations. The role involves providing application production support within the ITIL framework and ensuring seamless operations for wealth management applications. A background in banking or financial services is preferred, with expertise across asset classes, portfolio management, and trade lifecycle processes.
 Must-Have Skillsets (Mandatory):
- 5+ years of experience in application production support in large organizations. 
- Expertise in: 
  - Troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of applications. 
  - Application performance tuning and optimization. 
  - Resolving tickets with quality and within SLA timelines. 
  - Proactive monitoring and incident analysis. 
  - Workflow maintenance and configuration. 
- Strong knowledge of asset classes: Equities, Fixed Income, Funds, ETFs, and Structured Products. 
- Familiarity with portfolio management and trade lifecycle processes in wealth management. 
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, MSSQL, and .NET application frameworks. 
- Hands-on experience with Unix commands. 
- Experience in handling interface-related issues and working with middleware systems like TIBCO/Open API/Microservices. 
Good-to-Have Skillsets (Optional):
- Understanding of: 
  - Limit monitoring, LTV concepts, Haircuts, Margin Calls, and Liquidation. 
  - Collateral Management processes such as Pledge/UnPledge. 
  - Basic market data knowledge. 
  - Open source applications and components. 
  - Application licensing management. 
- Knowledge of: 
  - Advent/SAXO/FINIQ platforms. 
  - Databases like MongoDB, Hive, and PostgreSQL. 
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant technical experience in large organizations. 
- Banking or financial services background – preferred. 
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and application production support best practices.
