API Integration Specialist - IBM App Connect & Middleware Expert

Eligibility:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science from an HEC-recognized institute/university.

Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience. Experience with IBM App Connect, IBM APIC, IBM MQ, and API Gateway platforms and technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy APIs using IBM App Connect, IBM APIC, and IBM MQ.
• Implement complex data transformations and mappings using ESQL, XML, and XSLT.
• Configure and manage security for APIs and integration flows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API integration issues.
• Collaborate closely with developers and architects to define API requirements and ensure successful implementation.
• Document APIs and integration flows.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and trends in API integration.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of IBM App Connect, API Connect, MQ, JMS, Java, C#, Windows Services, WCF, REST/SOAP, Entity Framework, and databases (Oracle, DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server).
• Clear concepts of SOA and Microservices Architecture.
• Working knowledge of SQL and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
