Job Role / Responsibilities:


Reporting to Manager, Treasury you will be responsible for endowment donations and other reporting related matters including donations received for construction related projects. You will be actively coordinating with the colleagues of the Resource Development, to ensure timely recording and reporting of endowment and other donations.


Specifically, you will be responsible for:


  • liaising with AKU Resource Development for donation and endowment related matters
  • ensuring timely recording and classification of the donations in the respective heads of endowment and construction related projects
  • updating the endowment individual donor gift records on a monthly basis; including calculation of their year-on-year values of gifts received in the endowment
  • recording the payments against the annual endowment drawdown budget and ongoing construction projects
  • developing and maintaining the endowment’s historical database, such as historical data pertaining to annual returns, annual distributions, quarterly market value of endowment etc
  • preparing of Endowment Income Distribution Budget.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:


You should have/be:


  • a Qualified / Part Qualified CA / ACCA / CIMA / MBA
  • a minimum two years of related experience in financial or management reporting
  • sound knowledge of overall financial systems
  • strong analytical and writing skills
  • proficiency in MS Office with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • proficiency in use of computer packages specially MS Office
  • the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
