Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing financial statement of AKU-employees’ Provident and Gratuity Fund and supervise full and final settlement process for departing employees.Specifically, you will be responsible to;
- coordinate with actuaries and preparation of data for actuarial valuation of Gratuity Fund, PRMBS and Compensated Absences
- preparation of benefits working for provision as per actuarial valuation reports on monthly basis
- preparation of monthly income tax challan data, tax statements and responsible for annual Income Tax Returns u/s 149 (employees Income Tax)
- develop strategies for continuous improvement of operations; identify weaknesses and strategies to mitigate the risk
- lead re-engineering of processes with IT and other relevant departments’ in order to automate manual process
- supervise monthly schedule and reconciliation
- reconciliation of Provident and Gratuity Fund with HRMS and ledger accounts
- checking of payment vouchers and work closely with banks for online transfer of terminal benefits into their bank account
- facilitate supervisor in annual audits and other key assignments.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:- ACCA / ACMA / MBA from reputable university with majors in Finance
- 3 to 4 years of work experience, preferably payroll function will be an added advantage
- sound knowledge of overall financial systems
- be able to multitask and think out of the box
- proficiency in computers especially MS Office, particularly MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint tools is required ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
