JOB PURPOSE

In this role you will drive operational excellence in warehousing & transportation operations for Pakistan, exploiting and optimizing Unilever’s use of design and operation to improve customer service, cost and carbon footprint.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Step up Deliver Savings performance through defining best practice Logistics standards – Infrastructure, Processes and Operations and driving Continuous performance improvement through benchmarking.
Reduce Warehouse and Transport related CCFOT losses through defining & implementing Warehouse transition management processes and implementing best-in-class warehouse management processes & tools.
This role would lead initiatives on Activity Based Costing, Warehouse design, Material Handling Equipments, Setting up Optimal Warehouse processes (Put away, Replenishment, Picking etc.), Regional 3PL engagement, Warehouse Transition management, Internal & external benchmarks on Warehouse performance, Set up & drive improvement in Warehouse KPIs.
This role would work closely with In-country Logistics team and support them through deployment of best-in-class Warehouse and transport processes, tools and driving continuous improvement through internal & external benchmarks.
This role would work closely with In-country CSE team and support them in defining cost to serve and efficient logistics trade terms, market segmentation and standardized logistics approaches for each.
Standardized Deep Dive and Benchmarking of Logistics Operation (DCs and Transport).
Drive operational excellence in warehousing operations - maximizing and optimizing Unilever’s use of warehouse design and operation to improve customer service, cost and carbon (DC Operational Excellence and New DC Development).
Lead community of practice for improvement processes and tools (i.e. standard carbon calculation).
Partner with CSE on Go to Market strategy for distribution.
Segmentation and standardized logistics approaches for each.
Capability development (Training, Coaching with standard License to Operate).
Coordinate and manage Logistics capex.
Drive CO2 reduction (Logistics Decarbonization) initiatives and reporting.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
3-5 years experience in Logistics, with at least 3 years in managing Warehouse operations.
Experience in Distribution planning, Regional 3PL management, WMS implementation, Warehouse transition would be an advantage.
