Responsibilities

Monitor and manage air traffic in the airport's airspace using radar, visual observation, and communication tools.
Coordinate with ground crew, emergency services, and other airport staff to ensure smooth and safe airport operations.
Issue clearances for landings and take-offs, coordinating with other air traffic controllers in adjacent sectors to ensure seamless traffic flow.
Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing pilots with critical instructions to avoid collisions or accidents.
Maintain accurate records of air traffic, including flight paths, times, and any deviations from planned routes.
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety protocols, updating procedures as necessary.
Use radar and communication equipment to monitor aircraft locations and anticipate potential conflicts or issues.
