About Pavago:
Pavago is looking for a dedicated Admin and Operations Officer for our client by ensuring seamless backend operations following the booking of shipments. Our focus is on optimizing logistics processes to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination of Operations: Manage the logistical aspects of shipments post-booking, ensuring all details are accurately tracked and communicated.
- Support for Backend Operations: Assist with various backend tasks, including documentation, data entry, and coordination with shipping partners to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communication: Liaise with sales personnel and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations and address any logistical concerns.
- Logistics Management: Oversee the logistics process, including tracking shipments, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate records.
- Reporting: Generate reports on operational performance, shipment status, and any issues that arise, providing insights for continuous improvement.
What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
In a typical day as an Admin and Operations Officer, you will start by reviewing the status of ongoing shipments and any pending tasks from the previous day. You'll coordinate with logistics partners to ensure all shipments are on track and address any issues that arise. Throughout the day, you'll communicate with sales personnel to provide updates and gather necessary information for operational tasks. You'll also handle documentation and data entry, ensuring that all records are accurate and up to date. Additionally, you’ll generate performance reports and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement, contributing to a more efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Logistics Experience: A non-negotiable requirement is proven experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and external partners.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to proactively identify issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics software and tools, as well as standard office software (e.g., MS Excel).
