Accounts Manager in an International School in Hyderabad.
Immediate Joining
Role - Manage all accounting, financial services professionally, producing a controlled high quality result and logical future planning. Monitor & administer the fiscal affairs and budget control of the school deriving maximum benefit in an appropriate manner resulting in cost savings.
Responsibilities -
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop budget assumptions and guidelines ensuring appropriate lead time and involvement via the annual budget calendar. Prepare annual analysis and consolidation of budget requests and program proposals.
Preparation of an appropriately detailed monthly and year-end financial report to be presented to Head of School, Director – Finance & Operations and the Board.
Arrange for an annual audit of School financial records by an independent agency as recommended by the Head of School and Director – Finance & Operations
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, verify payment requests, and coordinate payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
Handle follow ups by the vendor on outstanding payments. Maintain records of fees and other school-related receivables.
Bank & Cash Management: Handle banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
Reconcile bank statements with the school's financial records.
Payroll Processing: Coordinate and process payroll for school employees, including checking salaries, deductions, and statutory contributions. Ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements.
Recommend for tax savings benefits from a payroll perspective beneficial to the School.
Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, taxation laws, and internal policies.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
CA or Cost Accountant needed.
Bachelor’s Degree required with major in the area of accounting and finance / Master’s Degree / MBA.
Proficiency in using accounting software - Tally and ERP and Microsoft Office Suite.
10+ years of experience in the field of finance and accounting.
Proven experience in accounting / finance, preferably in an educational institution or a similar setting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.
Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
