ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


ACCOUNTING & AUDIT SUPPORT


  • Possess a robust understanding of accounting principles and be proficient in INDAS, AS, and IFRS standards.
  • Have substantial experience in the preparation of financial statements and managing comprehensive audit processes.
  • Have a background in handling financial statements, statutory audits, tax audits, and transfer pricing reporting.
  • Responsible for the monthly closure of financial accounts in accordance with USGAAP standards.
  • Conduct monthly flux analysis and communicate findings to the Country Controller.
  • Collaborate with different teams to provide insights on complex accounting matters.
  • Support the business and functional for all accounting and other related questions and discussions.
  • Be knowledgeable about regulatory compliance, including TDS, TCS, GST, and other relevant regulations for Indian entities.
  • Review general ledger accounts to ensure their accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the business team to provide essential financial information that aids in decision-making.
  • Oversee and facilitate the physical verification of inventory and fixed assets in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Work closely with various teams to ensure the books of accounts are audited by statutory auditors.
  • Provide projected financial data to support various business requirements.
  • Ensure to comply with all the applicable KCA’s in your domain.

STATUTORY COMPLIANCES


  • Must possess a strong understanding of regulatory compliance matters, including TDS returns, TDS computation, TCS, and GST.
  • Should collaborate with the Tax Team to address various notices received from the Income Tax Department, GST authorities, and other relevant entities.
  • Responsible for filing TDS returns and resolving any issues raised by the Income Tax Department.
  • Filing of yearly FLA (Foreign Assets & Liabilities) with RBI.
  • Should have fair understand on SEZ norms and help in filing APR (Annual Performance review) with SEZ Authorities.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
Qualified Chartered Accountant or relevant qualification with 3-5 years of experience or Any graduate with a experience of 10-15 years in Controllership domain.


EXPERIENCE / SKILL SETS:


  • Sound knowledge of India GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS/IndAS
  • Understanding of Tax Provisions and Corporate Law related matters
  • Understanding SOX controls
  • Previous experience in Accounts Finalization
  • Having worked on any M&A/Business Restructuring Projects (Added advantage)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills

KEY CORE COMPETENCIES:


  • Sound knowledge in Financial Accounting, Auditing
  • MS Office
  • Knowledge of SAP/any other ERP is preferred
  • Effective Time management and able to prioritize task
  • Self-motivated.
