Responsibilities:


  • Accounting Entries: Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate financial ledgers.
  • Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations, analyze financial discrepancies, and resolve any inconsistencies.
  • Expense & Invoice Processing: Support accounts payable/receivable, process invoices, and ensure timely payments.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain and organize financial, payroll, and tax documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
  • Budgeting and Financial Projections: Assist in developing budget forecasts, monitoring financial trends, and providing insights for financial planning.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general accounting and administrative assistance as needed to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required Experience & Skills:


  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Stripe, and Paycom.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations, compliance requirements, and financial reporting.
  • Microsoft Excel Expertise: Strong skills in spreadsheets, financial modeling, and reporting.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
A typical day in this role involves recording and reconciling financial transactions, managing budgeting tasks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will process invoices, maintain financial records, and collaborate with HR and finance teams to keep financial data up to date. Utilizing QuickBooks and other accounting software, you will generate reports, analyze trends, and assist in financial forecasting to support decision-making.
