As the Senior Management Accountant you will be performing internal management reporting and analysis to support operational and strategic decision making, reviewing and challenging decisions relating to products, promotions, investments and strategic partnership and ensuring Company’s Opex and Capex spending are challenged for justification and are within the budget and manage the cash and borrowings to ensure availability of funds.

Core Responsibilities:



You will be responsible of the following:
Prepare detailed collection templates to facilitate challenging of input and consolidation of AOP. Prepare the budget for FTE cost and centralized cost such as travel, entertainment etc. Consolidate the input of departments and present BP and AOP to EXCO. Prepare required analysis to validate and justify BP and AOP numbers. Support controllers with designing and collecting information required for forecasting and budgeting. Design and preparation of actual Vs budget reports to help controllers manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets. Support Department Head in managing and monitoring Budgetary Control process and systems. Assist line manager in updating Business Plan and Forecast templates. Communicate approved AOP and handle related queries of the BU’s. Participate in month end activities and reporting of financial performance. Prepare monthly flash report and management reporting pack which include Income statement, Balance sheet, Cash flow, revenue details, Opex details, Capex and headcount. Verify reporting packages reflect accurate numbers for both plan and actual and carry out detail analysis and investigation to ensure the accuracy of numbers. Prepare the monthly Board presentation slides on financial results. Update monthly KPI files (including customer base, traffic, Network KPI etc.) based on the inputs received from various departments and follow up on them for timely completion. Analyse and comment on key events and trends which impacts company performance on monthly basis. Take responsibility for aligning Chart of Accounts with Cognos reporting system. Prepare, review and comment on monthly cost centre wise OPEX reports. Assist Department Head in attending to ad-hoc queries and clarifications received from various departments including extracting relevant data. Prepare other reports relating to TRA and other government ministries. Assist Department Head in preparing slides relating to Quarterly review. Any other ad-hoc analysis and investigations relating to cost developments. Interact with IT and other departments in designing, creating, improving and automating various reports. Assist DH in uploading AOP to oracle. Support DH in coordinating activities that need to be done around budgetary control such as carry forward of encumbrance, clean-up of old POs and PRs etc. Support DH to attend to various queries from internal management as well as OG management. Support Investor Relation in responding to queries raised by shareholders on financial information. Validate financial information shared with outsiders such as regulator, ministries, banks, analysts etc. Provide feedback on various queries from other departments on a daily basis. Supporting Bench marking exercise. Supporting group lead projects with information. Support any other projects. Support Director Business Control and the DH with various financial analysis to support various financial and operational decision making

The Person:



You should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of which 2 years in Management Accounting or Business Analyst role, good understanding of finance process and operations, knowledge of and experience in financial reporting, understanding of budget processes with excellent excel and PowerPoint skills with university degree in Accounting is a must and should be partly qualified in any recognized financial or management accounting association such as ACCA or CIMA
