Support the seamless and efficient operation of the Learning & Development function by ensuring all related policies, procedures, and standards are consistently followed and aligned with the hotel’s vision and Hyatt’s learning culture.
Bring HR knowledge and insights into the Learning & Development approach, ensuring that all learning initiatives support broader HR objectives such as colleague engagement, retention, and performance development.
Conduct learning needs analysis in collaboration with department heads to identify training gaps and opportunities that support both individual development and business goals.
Design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive annual Learning Strategy aligned with the hotel’s business plan and HR objectives.
Facilitate engaging and effective training programs, including Orientation Programs, Brand Training, Soft Skills, Service Excellence, and Departmental Learning sessions.
Ensure effective coordination, documentation, and reporting of training records, cross-training programs, mandatory learning modules, and learning evaluation metrics.
Maintain the upkeep, availability, and functionality of the Learning Room, training equipment, tools, and materials to ensure a conducive and inspiring learning environment.
Champion the Hyatt on Skills program by maintaining the required number of active Service Coaches per department and supporting them in delivering effective on-the-job training.
Build strong collaboration with all department trainers and conduct regular follow-ups to ensure consistency in departmental learning and development initiatives.
Provide guidance and coaching support to colleagues and department trainers to enhance their training delivery capabilities and professional development.
Support in coordinating external training sessions, e-learning rollouts, workshops, leadership development programs, and other learning initiatives in partnership with third-party providers or the Hyatt Learning platform.
Ensure accurate preparation of training-related reports, dashboards, and learning statistics for monthly HR and leadership reviews.
Promote a learning culture across the hotel by initiating creative learning activities, recognition programs for top learners and service coaches, and organizing learning weeks or engagement activities.
Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene as per the grooming standards, act as a role model in communication and behavior, and uphold positive colleague engagement.
Assist with additional HR tasks or projects assigned by the Human Resources Manager, contributing holistically to the success of the HR function.
