Job Title: Technical Pre-Sales & Maintenance Support Engineer
Job Summary:
Harweel Integrated is seeking a Technical Pre-Sales & Maintenance Support Engineer to support our Facilities Management, Supplies, and Services division. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining technical systems (electrical, CCTV, fire alarms, HVAC, etc.), along with some experience in pre-sales support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, CCTV, fire alarm systems, HVAC, and BMS. Install and troubleshoot telecom systems, access controls, and air conditioners.
- Keep detailed records of technical activities and provide regular reports on system performance and repairs.
- Work with technical teams to resolve issues and improve system functionality while ensuring safety compliance.
- Assist the sales team by providing technical input on customer requirements and product recommendations.
- Help with conducting site surveys and technical assessments to determine the most suitable systems for the client’s needs.
- Support the preparation of technical proposals, including Bill of Quantities (BOQs), system configurations, and cost estimates.
- Have hands-on experience with systems from brands such as Bosch, Gallagher, Honeywell, and Siemens, ensuring familiarity with their specifications and requirements.
- Local market knowledge is preferred, particularly regarding local regulations and system preferences within the Oman region.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical maintenance (electrical, HVAC, CCTV, etc.) with some exposure to pre-sales or technical sales.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with technical systems.
- Experience working with systems from Bosch, Gallagher, Honeywell, and Siemens.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Arabic is preferred).
- Willingness to travel within Oman for site visits.
