Overview of the role:
To contribute towards achievement of set goals and objectives through effective leadership of the assigned team, targeting different trade channel for consistent growth.
What you will do:-
Description of Accountability:
Strategic Business Development: Lead and drive the business development function in the solar sector, identifying new opportunities, and implementing growth initiatives.
Stakeholder Management: Effectively engage with a diverse set of stakeholders, including government bodies, clients, and partners, to foster strong relationships and collaborations.
Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of energy sector regulations in Oman and the GCC, ensuring compliance and leveraging regulatory frameworks for business advantage
Strategic Analysis and Research: Develop a deep understanding of the energy market dynamics to provide insights and drive market access strategies. Utilize strong analytical and modelling skills for strategic business analysis, market intelligence, and research.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges effectively and implement remedial actions.
Opportunity Identification: Identify gaps and opportunities in the market to explore potential alliances, partnerships, and acquisitions. Product registration & MAS (material acceptance sheet) approval process wherever it is necessary. Manage end to end (supply to collection of payment) process with all necessary documentation. Manage Debtor’s within budget days (timely collection of payments).. Support & assist the Manager in task & team handling as well take charge of business in his/her absence

What equips you for the role:
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in in a key position in similar industry with proven track record of successfully handling similar trade channel. University Degree/ Masters preferred. At least 5 years of experience in business development and strategic analysis in the power/solar sector. Proven experience in dealing with various stakeholders. Work experience with technical knowledge of Energy Sector Regulations in Oman/GCC. Customer Focus. Individual Accountability. Continuous Improvement. Personal Leadership. Problem Solving skills. Attention to details.
