Sr. Procurement Specialist

Wood is recruiting for a Sr. Procurement Specialist to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of specific aspects of supply chain management including expediting, procurement, subcontracts, negotiation and reporting of major procurement packages/subcontracts. 
Responsible for the supervision and guidance of directly reporting supply chain specialists/associates.
Clear understanding of the client’s head contract requirements including Wood responsibilities and knowledge of how these are integrated into project supply chain strategies, plans, procedures and terms and conditions. Has working knowledge of commercial terms and conditions, interfaces with Wood 
legal/commercial experts and can under guidance initiate/discuss adaptations in order to reach a robust commercial agreement.

Position is based in Oman for a long-term assignment.
