Sr. Buyer

Wood is recruiting for a Sr. Buyer to join its Projects team focusing on delivering across FEED and Detail design scopes of work. In this role, you will be responsible for for the delivery of specific category management initiatives across the business unit. 
Implementing category strategies that deliver tangible and sustainable savings across the business.
A supply chain professional with substantial category management experience ideally gained from a similar 
sized matrix organisation. The ability to lead cross functional/business relationships and implement 
innovative commercial models that deliver significant net tangible value to the business is imperative. It is 
envisaged that there will be a frequent requirement to travel (international) and as such a flexible approach 
to work and base location is preferred.

Position is based in Oman for a long-term assignment.
