Job Description

The Sales Engineer - Cold Room position in Muscat, Oman, is a dynamic role that combines technical expertise with sales acumen in the catering, food service, and restaurant industry. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing innovative solutions to clients in the cold storage sector. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions that enhance their operational efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with potential clients to identify their cold room requirements and provide expert advice on suitable products.
  2. Develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of cold room solutions.
  3. Collaborate with the engineering team to design customized cold room systems that meet client specifications.
  4. Prepare detailed proposals and quotations, ensuring all technical aspects are accurately represented.
  5. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  6. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the cold storage industry.
  7. Attend industry trade shows and networking events to promote the company’s products and services.
  8. Provide post-sales support and training to clients to ensure successful implementation of cold room solutions.
  9. Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  10. Prepare regular reports on sales activities and client feedback to inform strategic decisions.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Strong technical background in refrigeration or cold storage systems.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients effectively.
  3. Proven sales experience, preferably in the catering or food service industry.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  6. Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
  7. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  8. Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  9. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  10. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
